Nicholas La Stella studied law in the UK and entered the loss adjusting profession in 2005 with Studio Bolton in Italy. 
He joined Charles Taylor Adjusting in 2010 and was seconded to Miami for three years, after which he returned to London. 
In May 2015 he relocated from London to Rome, to open CTA’s first Italian office, and later also opened a branch in Milan in 2020. In 2021, Nicholas relocated to Barcelona to establish CTA’s first Spanish office and was promoted to Head of Specialty Lines. In 2023, he advanced to Deputy Head of Continental Europe, and in 2025, he was appointed Head of Continental Europe at CTA. He is bilingual in English and Italian and speaks fluent Spanish, Portuguese and French.
