Pierreddy came from a construction background, working in the industry for a year after graduating in 1986.
He entered the loss adjusting profession in 1987, joining an international loss adjusting company.
He completed his insurance qualification ANZIIF (Snr Assoc) in 1988 and Chartered Loss Adjusters examination (ACILA) in 1992. Specialising in Construction & Engineering in the CILA exam, Pierreddy started his career handling construction claims.
As he gained experience, he went on to handle multi-million-dollar property, casualty, and Jewellers Block claims in Hong Kong, Mainland, Macau and Japan. Pierreddy also handled a number of SARS loss of profits claims.
Pierreddy was appointed Managing Director of an international adjusting firm in 1994 and held this position until late 2019, when he moved to Charles Taylor Adjusting as Executive Chairman.
