Business Continuity

In light of the Coronavirus (COVID-19) outbreak, we have a heightened awareness of our responsibility to our employees, clients, customers and partners.

While this is a developing situation, we want to reassure you that Charles Taylor has put robust disease prevention and Business Continuity Plans in place to ensure business as usual for our clients and global customers, anywhere in the world, at any time.

Prevention

Our ongoing prevention activity includes a communication strategy with all staff in line with local government guidelines. Our latest guidance issued to staff includes:

  • Hints and tips for efficient home working
  • A reminder of the hygiene recommendations and increased cleaning regime in our offices
  • A reminder of the self-isolation requirements
  • Encouragement to use technology for virtual meetings

All of the above will be updated daily on our internal Intranet page dedicated to the Coronavirus.

Business Continuity Plans

To ensure a consistent approach for our international operations, we have issued action plans to each office alongside our Business Continuity (BC) and Pandemic Policy. These include specific tasks to complete, based upon the trigger stage that offices are currently operating within. The action plans also include arrangements for split working arrangements and full remote working to ensure a continuation of service.

We have a central incident coordinator who works closely with a BC point of contact within every office on day-to-day BC matters. Communication between these groups is now more frequent and, in most cases, updates are being provided to ensure the approach remains consistent and that support is being provided.

On Friday 13 March, Charles Taylor conducted a BC scenario test with offices around the globe working from home. This allowed us to confirm that our IT infrastructure has the capability that we require and also gave us further reassurances that our teams can all work remotely and to full efficiency.

Client support

Charles Taylor Global teams are available and continue to provide client support during this challenging period.

If Charles Taylor can provide additional support for your business, please get in touch with your usual contact, or with one of the contacts listed on this page.
